My love for music and singing started at a very early age. I guess I was hooked from the
beginning. During high school I played in a couple of "garage bands" that played a few parties
occasionally. It wasn't until myself and a high school buddy formed Scandal that I really got
it. Scandal became a full-time club band from early 1980 until late 1983. We traveled in
numerous states and became quite the "road warriors". A couple of those guys are still
playing in local club bands today. After Scandal, I continued singing full-time in Wavelength,
Looker, and Lifeline until 1986 when I gave it all up for a real job.
After a really long break, I hooked up with long-time friend Steve Castetter and started
recording Steve's original songs. Project 19 was formed and a CD of that material was
released in 2003. It wasn't until early 2008 that the "live band" version of Project 19 began
playing, almost 22 years to the day that I had previously hung it up.
This time we're playing for fun. I hope everyone that comes out to see us is having as much
fun as we are.
Thank you for being there...
